Rayd's Garage

This is a project that I have wanted to do for a long time. I plan to take my time and do it exactly as I want to - no compromises. It stared as a worn out 71 Honda CB450 but is being converted into a faux 69 CB500SS (497cc). I want to create a bike that Honda might have built with all the speed goodies available of that era (with exception of the unique speedo). I worked with Team Hansen Honda (yes - the 1970 Daytona 200 winners) to build the special HiPo street motor. We believe it is good for 55+ HP on the dyno. Anyway enjoy the pics - I'll keep adding more as I progress.

Polished Parts

I told you I couldn't stop polishing - the finned valve cover is from a CB500T - it goes nicely with the other aftermarket finned covers
